Privacy policy
Last updated June 2, 2026
This policy explains what information Designprint collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. In plain terms: we use your information to create, print, and ship your orders, and we never sell it.
Who this applies to
This policy covers thedesignprint.com, our design tools and editor, our checkout, and the Designprint connector you can add to AI assistants like Claude. It applies whether you use Designprint with an account or as a guest.
Information you give us
Account details: if you create an account, your name and email address.
Order details: your email, shipping name, address and phone number, the product, size and quantity you choose, and the contents of your order.
Designs and files: designs you create in our editor, files you upload to print, and designs you send us from an AI assistant through our connector.
Messages: anything you send us by email or in a support request.
Information collected automatically
Usage and device data: basic information such as your browser and device type and how you interact with the site, used to keep it working and secure.
Cookies: we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to run checkout. We also use limited analytics and error-monitoring to find and fix problems. We don’t use cookies to sell your data.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the last four digits and billing postal code) to manage and reconcile your order.
How AI design generation works
When you ask Designprint to generate or refine a design, the prompt and brief you provide are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the design. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in prompts that you wouldn’t want processed this way.
The connector and AI assistants
When you use the Designprint connector inside an AI assistant such as Claude and choose to print a design, the assistant sends us that design, and you provide your order and shipping details at our checkout.
We receive the design and your order. We do not receive your AI assistant account, your login, or your other conversations.
How we use your information
We use your information to create, print and ship your orders; send receipts and shipping updates; provide support; keep the service working, safe and fraud-free; and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we don’t use your designs or files for anything other than running the service and fulfilling your orders.
How your designs and files are handled
Designs and uploads are stored so we can produce your order and let you reorder. Files you upload to print are kept in a private, access-controlled location.
You can ask us to delete a design or file at any time and we’ll remove it, except where we need to keep limited records (for example, completed-order and tax records).
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers needed to run Designprint, and only what each one needs to do its part:
Stripe (payment processing); Supabase (our database and file storage); Anthropic (AI design generation); Render and Vercel (hosting); our print and shipping partners (to produce and deliver your order); and an email provider (to send receipts and updates).
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights and our users. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations. Designs and files are kept so you can reorder, and are removed on request where we’re not required to retain them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database and storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to fix issues quickly.
Your rights and choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or request a copy. Guests can do the same using the email address on their order. To exercise any of these, just email us.
Children
Designprint is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Where your data is processed
Designprint operates from the United States and your information is processed there. If you use the service from another country, you consent to that processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The version posted here is the current one, and the “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
